Membership Standards
  1. Age Requirement: Members must be at least 16 years old at the time of registration.
  2. Account Credentials: Your login credentials are personal and confidential. Never share your account or use another person's credentials.
  3. Full Name Policy: Register with your full legal name. Incomplete, incorrect, or misleading information = account termination.
  4. Single Account: Each member is allowed one account only.
  5. Email Address: Provide a valid email address at registration. Update your email if it changes. Accounts with invalid emails may be removed.
  6. Password Assistance: If you forget your password, contact the Human Resources Manager for a temporary reset. Change your password promptly after login through the Pilot Dispatch system.
Governing Documents
JAL Virtual is governed by our Code of Conduct and official Bylaws. These are reviewed regularly, with all major updates announced via Discord.

Discord Community
  • The Discord server is the primary hub for events, news, and community engagement.
  • Membership is strongly encouraged (but not required).
  • Find the invite link in the smartCars 3 App.
Transfer Hours
  • JAL Virtual accepts transfer hours from previous virtual airline experience—up to 15 hours maximum.
  • You must provide a valid verification link when applying.
Leave of Absence (LOA)
  • If you need to be inactive for an extended period, file a Leave of Absence (LOA) by contacting Human Resources.
  • An LOA “freezes” your account and prevents removal for inactivity.
  • To return, notify Human Resources to reactivate your account.
Suspension
  • Pilots who violate policies may be suspended for a set period.
  • While suspended, you cannot access JAL Virtual systems or services.
  • Bypassing restrictions during suspension may result in permanent removal.
Resignation
  • To resign, notify the Human Resources Manager.
  • If you leave in good standing, your account stays in our database for possible future return.
  • To return, simply request reactivation from Human Resources.
